Lack of blogging mojo lately, I really need to have blogging pills now. Do they have it in store? I think I shall create it and sell it to all the procrastinating bloggers out there. LOL. #random

Semester 2 is like a MESS! My timetable sucks so bad I have classes on Saturday. Who goes for classes in weekends!? especially from 8am till 1.30pm straight. Goodness gracious. Imagine that I have morning classes rather than afternoon classes this time...

I am so dead. shiitt.

The lecturer is not impressed with our works last semester and he needs us to do it better enough this time. That is why I almost spend my whole entire week to search for journals and articles for my soon-to-release assignments.

By the way, I went to The Curve with my uni-mate for lunch. #meatballs! I also decided to get a new pair of glasses because my current one is old and filthy already, #sadmax. The one I bought this time is super cute, it is a geek glasses aka BIG GLASSES like a nerd. :3

Damn it. but it is okay, it is good for my eyes. (still cannot believe with the price).

Valentine's Day: Of simple and special

I am grateful enough to have a nice boyfriend for three years and it keeps getting stronger and stronger.

Our Valentine's celebration is pretty much average, no wine and lavish food, just an average dinner at our local Italian restaurant and spent whole afternoon in Pavilion. It is just like a normal outing where I can get into book store (usual) to hunt some books and bodek him to get me loose powder as Valentine's Day present. Chilling in a Japanese coffee shop, En Ginza with cute doraemon latte and a bowl of Udon.

Just like what we do in normal weekends :)

To tell the truth, I am not kind of girl who fancy over Valentine's Day. I do not really want to have expensive dinner on that day itself as both of us are still students, our allowances are kinda constrained. Unlike some other girls who really cannot deal the fact that their boyfriends couldn't pay their super expensive meals at high end restaurants (I am not joking, some girls ARE like that, God knows why).

Well, wine and ribs on Valentine's Day are not a big deal at all, we can have ribs like any other days. Usually, restaurants which come out with Vday dinner sets are really suck big time because they do not prepare the food decently. I have tried once (wayyyyyy before when I was single with family lol) and yes, it was suck. I tweeted about the flower my boyfriend bought for me on our Valentine's Day and how fast the flower will die, Aki Borneo immediately replied me: no, not the flower to see, the people who give em.. Ha ha ha.. :D.. That's one will sure tahan lama.. :p . Which is funny and true! I somehow truly agreed with him!

As we look in different angles, Valentine's Day is just a day to remember our special people, regardless of couple or family and friends. My dad was so nice he purposely bought a Valentine's cake for all of us (surprise!) from Levain on that day itself.

It was so nice of dad to get a Vday cake for us all!

On that day itself, the Tuesday of Valentine's Day. Boyfriend has classes to attend and I read my favourite story book at home. We only went out for late supper just for the sake of Vday and we were supposed to go to Starbucks but ended up at Wong Kok Restaurant because it is cheaper and fuller lol.

It doesn't matter what we did, went on Valentine's Day. The most important thing is to remind us how special we are to someone (friends or family). :3

Happy Valentine's peeps!

Most of you would be going out to have a fantabulous day with your partner today in lavish restaurant, celebrating the day of love. :3 However, I have already celebrated pre-Valentine's Day with my boyfie at our local community Italian restaurant few days ago.

I was pretty bored today, my sem just started so there is nothing much to do. What I did was talking to the camera and made a vlog. MY very FIRST VLOG! Teehee. the only moment where I literally talked about random stuff and blinked, nodded and blurred. lol.

My vid has HD quality too! So don't watch in crappy 360p. :)

Pretty funny huh, my English is so horrible I was laughing mad while watching the video. Anyway, it just for the sake of fun :D! Hopefully you guys understand my horrible English with fully Malaysian accent in it lol.

Presenting Ainaa, the birthday girl who had her wish came true having a meal at Dreamz Bakery, The Strand Kota Damansara. It was my first time driving alone to Kota Damansara from my far far away land, thank goodness I was able to find this cute little concept cafe!

The place has this kind of a new concept interior design which emphasize on the cosiness of the shop, with cute drawings. I bet most of the girls love this place so much! Dreamz Bakery actually do have custom made cakes for all cake lovers out there for their birthdays, weddings, anything you can name it they will do it.

How cute is that plate! I wonder where they get these plates cuz I wanna get it as well! Ainaa ordered her favourite cake in this shop, she told us that it tastes yummy :3

Tiramisu

I ordered tiramisu. The texture is creamy (very good) but the taste is somehow...disappointed me. It is just a regular tiramisu in most shops and somehow pH tiramisu is much tastier than this. I am suck in describing food but this just does not fancy me at all. 3: For rating, myabe 3 out of 5.

But one thing DID fancy me was Hello Kitty almond cookies, the biscuit has a strong almond taste and crunchy too :) I bought one packet of the cookies ended up Scotty ate it all. Sighh... My dog is not a dog, he is the prince of the house.

A shade of blue

After attempting on trying out Kelly Clarkson's Stronger music video look few days ago, I got hooked up on shimmering eye shadow cream because of its creamy texture :3

Inspired by the sky and peacock, I used both blue eye shadow and green shimmering cream eye colour on my eyes. I picked dark blue for my outer corner of my eyes and made a 'V' shape and carefully to maintain my inner crease as clean as possible. After that, I used the green shimmering eye shadow on my inner crease, dab onto my crease softly then soften whole look with blending brush. With a bit of lavender eye colour, it can soften out the the 'V' shape. To define my eyes, initially I used darkest blue colour to line up my eye then with a black gel liner, creating a soft cat eye look. Using the same colour, applied it on lower lash line to make the whole look balance. =3

I personally adore this look because it is kinda sweet and edgy at the same time, it suits my face technically because I look good in cold colour. :3

Could not believe that today is the last day of Chinese New Year! =3 It is time to settle down with serious mood for my coming 2nd semester just to make sure that I can manage my results very well =) My UEL results were released last week, thanks to my friend who posted up about the information on Facebook, most of my friends were anxiously waiting to know the results.

I mean, who does not?

Anyway, I am piratically happy over my results. After the UoL results (last year), I had problems dealing with lectures and studies. Finally I transferred to UEL, where a programme with heavy assignments, my life has completely changed. I am more flexible in my time management and less stress. =) I took Academic Skills for Business, Governing Business Activities and Accounting and It's Regulatory Frames last semester. I gained distinctions for the two subjects except for Governing Business Activities as it is not been released yet. Fair enough, the results are way better than UoL results (no distinction but border line passes T_T, not good).

Hardworking does pay off =3

With all the expectations from parents and myself, I believe that I can achieve a good honour for my degree =3 Who knows? I just want to get ass out of the university and start contributing to the society a.k.a. working.

There are so many things to blog but why I could not blog a thing lately? I remember when I just started my blog, it was a space as my diary without wasting papers, thinking that nobody would ever discover my blog.

That was five years ago.

Years after years, my blog has developed some traffics and Nuffnang was then formed. Seeing that many bloggers, mostly friends started to register with Nuffnang to earn some pocket money or just to be seen. I was able to blog about my life, my crush, soon my love life, ending every post with 'love you' and some kisses. Those was the time I was able to express myself fully, to the max! without worrying over the blog traffic. Until innit showed up, I hooked up on the traffic and started to blog whatever the readers preferred.

What is the true identity of my blog?

Those who blog about parties, events tend to have more views. I started to think that maybe readers prefer the happenings, events, stuff like that so I started to have tonnes of crappy food review posts cuz I am suck at it. 'Nuff said.

I am not my mom. Duh.

Then, Michelle Phan was on Youtube, sharing some makeup tutorial videos and sending inspirational messages to all ladies out there. Frankly speaking, I was and always a girl with seriously low self- esteem issue, even though I might look confident outside. Thankfully, my boyfriend has always been by my side to support me no matter what (he doesn't know about my self-esteem issue). With Michelle Phan's inspirational thoughts, I tried on dramatic makeup look, it takes GUTS to start out a fresh look. and also started my Fashion and Beauty posts. I do not have the money for travelling, exotic foods and larvish bars/pubs/clubs. With my cheap camera, I believed that I can share some tips with the girls out there and boosted up my confidence.

Not long ago, a girl showed up in my life. She has everything, from head to toe and she has excellent taste in fashion. I was shocked and really, I was jealous and there goes my confidence! Months and months I kept telling myself I look fine, I am pretty, I have an awesome life, awesome boyfriend but turned out to be helpless at all!

I am just a average university student who struggling with assignments and clubs meetings. I do not think that it is fair for me. All I was thinking: Nicole, you have to complete your Degree in two years. You must go out and start a new fresh life, like it or not. You see, I am not young anymore. I have flunked my UoL so badly I had to start my UEL Programme all over again from Year 1! I am not 19 years old, I am 22 now!!

Yes, I am slow.

Anyway, that girl really press my confidence from up here to down there. ZERO. I cried and cried, kept on telling myself to face the fact and take up the challenge, prove everyone that I can manage my life, more importantly my self-esteem issue!!!

All I need is time but time is gold.

But it is alright Nicole, as they said 'No pain no gain'. I can be a lil' bit of drama queen here but it is okay, ranting is the way to reveal the problems, from problems we can search for solutions!!

My lack of posting is because of my no-direction life. I do not know how my blog will end up... The process of growing up, to be mature is really..........tough.

It should be fine cuz I found my blog identity back! The space where I really express myself freely, sad, happy, whatever it is! No more crappy crappy posts, I shall reserve my blog as a space I share my thoughts and ideas. =')

How is Chinese New Year treating you lately? It is about time to check your make up products expiry date, you do not want some chemicals affecting your beautiful skin right?

I actually bought some cosmetic products few weeks ago and decided to do a HAUL post.

Sephora Hydrating and Smoothing foundation in D30

I am a huge fan of Sephora products, I have been in Sephora outlet at least once a month just to restock my stuff lol. They were having sales and this liquid foundation costed MYR35 only (I have forgotten the original price, it is around MYR60+)!! It was very cheap to get a good quality foundation. I could not show the swatch because my camera is not sensitive enough T__T but I found out that the foundation tends to be greasy a bit, maybe because I had been using Cyber Colour Mineral foundation which gives soft and jelly-like foundation.

However Sephora Hydrating and Smoothing foundation is smooth on the skin and does has some glowy effect! When the sun hits me, damnnn I look tan sometimes lol But after applying loose powder my skin colour is back to normal. Yay? At least it does not make me look like some cheesy vampires hek.

NYX Lip Smacking Fun Colours in LSS604 Jupiter

Yay! My first ever NYX product! Bought it at Offline Shop @ Berjaya Times Square, which is way larger than Sunway Pyramid outlet. If you wanna get NYX products, the palettes and stuff, this shop is way to go! It is quite cheap actually, for MYR18 you can have pinkishliscious lips instantly!
Cons: Aweful smell.... but I got used to it YAY!

Stippling brush

After collecting ang pows, it is the time to spend! I really need a liquid foundation brush so badly (my sponge just died T__T) I went searching for the perfect brush aroud Kuala Lumpur. The one I initially spotted was Top Shop foundation brush for MYR33 but for me, I do not think that the quality might match with the price, thinking that it can be some kind of image branding price. But if you know or using Topshop make products, please tell me whether their products are nice or not cuz I have been eyeing some products.

Neehoos, I bought this brush at The Lash Bar, Sunway Pyramid for MYR39. The promoter told me that this is the IN brush which many people are using right now. Thought that wahhhh... Must be veli nais d lahhh so mani people use worrr so I decided to buy it and try. Turned out to be.... GREAT! =P And it is actually named as stippling brush which can give you an airbrush effect, baru I tau adui.
Cons: It is kinda stiff at first but after some times the brush is more flexible.

Haeya everyone,

Chinese New Year is just around the corner, the time where relatives gather together for prosperity, luck and angpows! Who does not like that, right?

I did some researches on make up looks to match my cheongsam for this Sunday reunion dinner with my close relatives. I recently got hooked up on Tsubasa Masuwaka's cute hime-gyaru style.

Hime-gyaru is seriously popular in Japan, even Koda Kumi from sex symbol to hime-gyaru!
Clean and neat, with big dolly eyes, which look like a princess to me!

Inspired by her Candy Doll look,

This is what I have became, super animated eyes.

I did not use false lower eyelashes, instead I applied mascara and small amount of falsies glue on my lower eyelashes. Wait for 15 seconds, use a tweezer to press the lashes firmly to the skin. In other words, I stick the lashes onto my skin to enlarge my eyes. 0___________0

Super creepy, I know.

I am not sure whether I have made the right decision on having THIS look with my traditional clothes. It will be VERY interesting. hehek :)

Hi guys, it has been awhile... I am so busy taking care of my sick dog recently, fortunately enough he is gradually getting better and better *fingers crossed*. What I most worried is that he still does not want to eat any food, literally. We have to finger food him with blended dog water food in every two to three hours using syringe! That is really scary...

'Feeling any better?' a common line who my mom and I always ask our dog, Scotty.

He has been ill for two days and it keeps us worrying. For nine years, this is his first time being this ill, refuses to eat anything at all. We brought him to the vet and found out that he has respiratory infection, the veteran gave him two injections and hopefully it turns out well. If he still refuses to eat, we have to give him a blood test and body check-up. According to the veteran, it is impossible for a dog refuses to eat when it has respiratory problems, it might be caused by heart-worm in its lung.

He was okay in the afternoon but... he turned blue in the evening :[ My dog always turn out to be a healthy dog even though he is skinny but he can jump, run and darn active.

Now?

Lethargic. What more can I say...

This is him just two days ago!

Pet dragons!

Great news everyone, I officially have pet dragons in the haus! Mommy thinks that it would be so cute to adopt these four dragons to our family and attract good luck and prosperity (Chinese has it all the time).

Chinese New Year is just around the corner and I bet everyone is rushing decorating the haus in order to usher the Dragon of the year. Look at Pavilion, they even have a gigantic dragon in their building. To tell the truth, I had a feeling there will be a dragon hanging around in the building for this CNY decoration and boy I was right after all! =]

Notice I have changed my blog title from peacemusicbabe to Little Miss Smexy? I have some hard time deciding on what name should my blog change to until I read my old posts. I realized I am engaging to self-esteem boosting related posts, ie. labels: fashion, OOTD, beauty. Back in 2010 or way before that, I always blog about my miserable life, how sucks my life was back then. To be honest, I was not confident of myself, my soul and my body figure, it was like a girl being trapped in a dark room or tempurung without exposing to positive sight of life.

I was afraid

until I started to watch makeup tutorials online, I found out that hey, being beautiful is not about fitting in a UK6-8 clothe, it is all about how you present yourself, inside and out :) - in my point of view. I decided to take off from the worst side of me to a better self person with the help of the tutorials, some fashion blogs and the loves from my friends! In my case, I believe that with the help of make ups and appropriate clothings will definitely boost up my-self confident instantly because of the confidence I have. Also, after I switched the toughest course UoL to UEL programme I am a happier person. This is true.

I was not afraid of taking chances and enjoying my life, here is the recap of memories in 2011:

Hi guys, as you all know I was expected to attend a party nearby Setapak for NY2012 celebration. Boyfie's best friend was invited as house deejay in the local pub.

His friend called and asked us to join them for countdown but I was reluctant at first because I hate clubbing when they have events, just do not like being squeeze like sotong and susah nak dance lol. Today I am aspired to blog another fashion post (click here for my other related posts).

Wanna know why?

Because I finally bought a vertical mirror for my own room!

I am a girl and I cannot live without a big mirror, lol.

Yes I am no longer using my imagination when dressing up!

But Beware.

Enough of meme pun, I am going to show you how I layer my clothes for chilling weather. We all know that Malaysia weather is like PMS, sometimes it is sunny sometimes you gonna expect for raining cats and dogs. Here, let assume that Kuala Lumpur is having chilling or rainy weather. Ummmm... wait, IT IS RAINING SEASON. Jeng jeng jeng!

I opened my wardrobe and found out that I have plenty of tees and jeans. However, as an avid fan of Chriselle Lim, a famous fashion guru. She constantly emphasizes on layering from thin to thick with would allow your body figure to have balance proportion, which I believe it is true because if you layer the thick material first then the thin one, it would add extra volume on your figure and that will make you look bigger.

That is a big no-no!

1. Little white dress

3. Tube dress or a maxi skirt

Anyway, you must be wondering: why there is a white dress and a skirt? Well actually I do not have a white sleeveless top so I was thinking, why not I transform my dress into a top? It would be so versatile! And also, I do not have a maxi skirt either, it is actually a tube dress lol! The tube dress is so loose I decided to wear it as a skirt, hehehehe...

It actually makes me look taller LOL! because of the illusion of the cardigan and the skirt. I love this outfit so much because it really express my true self, a more relaxing kind of girl. I am not a typical edgy rocking chick or a clubbing hotness, those are not me. I am a good girl LOL. Just kidding.

I kinda look like Belle's outfit from Disney's Beauty and the Beast minus the belt and cardigan, maybe it because of the white and blue (it is actually in turquoise colour but yea). I LOOK LIKE DISNEY PRINCESS!!! *hype hype*

Year end shopping spree

Christmas is over and every shop is blasting Chinese New Year songs everywhere.

Mommy and I decided to shop at Sunway Pyramid today since my university club meeting was being cancelled unexpectedly lol. We went to Barbera Cafe for our lunch, turned out to be disaster because the service is freaking sucks. We actually had to wait for an hour just for our main courses? That is unacceptable for us because we ordered from set meals, not ala carte so it should be faster right? Sadly, the waitress over there was quite slow and always in a sour or moody face, funny is someone even mentioned on Foursquare tips!

However, the food is not bad. After encountered such problem, if you want to have a taste of their food... Just go to their Bangsar outlet, it is much better compared to this one, in my opinion lol.

Many of my friends celebrated their Christmas with lavish dinner and celebration this year, I made a exception this Christmas season.... a job. Yes, I spent my Christmas weekend with sanitary pads. lol.

Please do not get me wrong, I was not even whining about working in festive season. I was actually gaining experience through this promotion event. I suck at sales. Trust me, sales is never a cup of my tea but I am learning.

Being vain while working lol

It all started when I was searching for jobs desperately for cash and I was damn bored during semester break. My friend was desperate too and he sent me a job recruitment site designed for part time and freelance jobs and that is how I found this promoting job haha.

Until I went for the training, baru I realized the job is promoting Kotex Luxe sanitary pads at Subang Parade. So if you were at Subang Parade, you would have seen me shouting around obnoxiously. I am so sorry about that but... I had to do it to achieve the sales target.

I have learnt on how to persuade clients to buy our stuff and also how to deal with them. Not only that, I also found out some useful marketing approach in this hectic festive season =) Three days from morning till night with two breaks is not an easy task for me, every night I would had to massage my feet before sleep because of standing whole day!! Hehe

Anyway, my Christmas day was not bad at all because I got the chance to spend some hours with boyfie before the clock stroked 12! Best part was we had lok lok for supper!! :D The funny thing was he mentioned about having lok lok on Christmas few months ago and I was not happy about it.... but it happened eventually. LOL. The lesson of the story is, we are not Alice Cullen. 'Nuff said.

Hi.

Everything seems to be pretty cool now except for one thing, I will not be having Christmas dinner with family and friends this year. I have work to do within this Christmas season......working.

I should say that I am happy because money will be going into my pocket, am dead broke by the way. Friends were amazed that I will be working during the holidays because they know that I always ~~must~~ have dinner party during this festive season. But who cares, I might still enjoy the atmosphere in the shopping mall, standing and brag people to purchase the products in my working area, the booth.

It all happened when I received Candy Doll brochure at SASA store few weeks ago...

I was captivated with Himegyaru looks because of their innocent barbie doll looks (all thanks to colour circle lens). The Candy Doll brochure features Tsubasa Masuwaka, a himegyaru icon in Japan and also the model who owns Candy Doll and Dolly Wink, popular makeup brands in Japan.

I instantly fell in love with their looks, especially the eyelashes and the completely matte face, it is exactly looks like a doll! To be honest, I was dying to try their products because of the gyaru hypes all over me. Impulse buys with no regret!

I was also influenced by a youtuber on gyaru makeup look tutorials, anzfalcon. I found out gyaru makeup is actually simple to do, the only tricky part is when we have to apply eyelashes, especially the bottom eyelashes. Sigh, I am still not good at applying bottom eyelashes!! So I was attempting to look like a gyaru unfortunately, I did not look like a gyaru. LOL. That is why I named my tutorial video 'Simple gyaru INSPIRED makeup look'. haha

Trust me, I was amazed when I was standing there taking this picture. The place was full of people and the best of all, cosplayers from all over the region, anticipating country's biggest anime exhibition- Comic Fiesta 2011.

This is my second time to attend anime event (read post here). Although I am not an otaku but cosplay has been an eye opener to me, it hits Malaysia pretty hard lately ;P A friend of mine, who also happens to be my course-mate helped me to get the tickets because the line started since 7am, rumour has it.

Homemade mask

Hello there, I am actually a big fan of Michelle Phan because of her pretty makeup tutorials and also her DIY tutorials! It helps me a lot and it does save a lot of moolah instead of purchasing those expensive facial skin care products. This time, I would like share on one of her DIY tutorials: Avocado Tea Mask, requested by Laura Lee (check her awesome blog yo!).

If you had noticed, many beauty products contain avocado. Avocado is a nutritious fruit, it has Vitamin A, B and E which would nourish the skin and promote growth of new cell! This fruit mask is suitable for all types of skin, which is why Avocado is the bomb!

Other than that, green tea is an ultimate ingredient in antioxidants, which help to protect body from free radicals. So technically, it promotes young skin. Yeah! FREE from old witch face in Disney Snow White movie because that looks pretty scary!! With avocado and green tea, you know your skin will be thankful to you.

To start of the making of the mask, you will need:

Spatula
Knife
Strainer
Plate
Small cup
Big bowl

Of course, the essential ones are the avocado itself and one spoon of green tea leaf.

First,
cut the avocado into half and spoon out the fillings into the bowl.

This looks nasty.

Secondly, let's us start brewing the green tea! Since i don't have any green tea powder with me, I shall green use tea leaf instead. Add hot water into the cup and steep it for around 30 seconds depends on the type of the green tea leaf. After that, remove the tea leaf from the cup with stainer and keep the brewed leaf! Enjoy your delicious green tea too!

Next,
mix the avocado fillings with the brewed green tea leaf well, we want the smooth texture.

Please don't hate the colour and the look of the mask.

Once you have done the mask, put it into a container and conceal it then store it in the refrigerator. The next time when you want to do your mask, just take out from the fridge and apply it right onto your face. It will give you smooth and cooling feelings, that is so comfortable okay! One thing, I do not know how long exactly should I store for the mask so I will dispose it within a week of more than a week. Heh.

Apply the mask onto your face for roughly 10 minutes, this simple making mask will instantly transform your face into smooth, clear and radiant skin! How cool is that!?I tried this mask and it works fine for me so if there's anything happened to your skin while tempting to do this mask... consult a doctor or specialist right away okay?!

Hi guys, how is your weekends going? I have finally done with all of my heavy loaded assignments that has to be submitted within month, crazy right? I don't know man, I just transferred from a crazy 100% based exam degree to heavy loaded like shit with minimum examination degree, it is like 180 degree wtf.

Anyway, Alicia and I were expecting to attend a local bazaar, The KL Bazaar at our local community area IOI Boulevard Puchong, the place that I always hang out with friends for food and drinks, I mean nice coffee from Pacific Coffee Company and not those kind of DRINKS. You know I mean?

This is my very first fashion bazaar in my life. SERIOUS! I never get the chance to be any bazaar because of the locations (too far or I duno how to go) and nobody is willing to take me there (I wasn't a good driver back then fml) and even worse, no teman.

Ciao Ristorante, I seriously never heard of it until my dad told me that this is the first Italian restaurant in the heart of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. Located at the busy road of Kuala Lumpur, this is definitely the place to sit down and enjoy the authentic Italian cuisine.

Went to Nagomi at Jaya 33, Petaling Jaya for Shabu-shabu. However, I did not expect that it is not specialize in shabu-shabu anymore. Instead, it is more on Japanese cuisine which comes with higher price compared with other Japanese cuisine outlets.

I am obsessed with leopard print lately. Apparently leopard print is the new black in this season (wait, before this let me add a few words, it has been the thing like forever but somehow it is THE thing in this season) and it has remained as the sexiest-must-have in every woman's wardrobe! I was never a leopard print lover because I used to think that it is cheap, old and hoe-like print. You know, like what your mom would wear. oops, I mean old woman.

Until I saw a cute leopard print camisole at Cotton On, I instantly fell in love with leopard print WITHOUT knowing that it is the BLACK in this season. It is so edgy and sexy in the same time, with the right accessories and match, leopard print can somehow spice up your outfit.

If you are not a fashion risk taker and you want to start a new trend, go with simple things like scarf or headband, it will jazz up your outfit with a blink.

This is my suggestion. The celebrity who inspired me is Kim Kardashian, where she pulled out the basics with a leopard print scarf. Adding some bold colours will immediately lighten up the whole look, here I added a pair of pink sneakers. I always on-the-go so I pair up with sneakers and I love pink (click here for my pink obsession post) ! =D

However, if you LOVE taking risk because you have awesome confidence in you. Do try this look instead!

Story of being Ah Girl

I hate it when people, usually the sellers call me Ah Girl.

To me, Ah Girl refers to 5 years old girl, not a full grown lady.

There was one time I was in a furniture shop, helping my parents to fill up delivery form and that uncle handed me the form and said, 'Ah Girl, fill up this form ok?' I looked at him like WTF. Seriously, who are you referring to!? Don't look at me, I am NOT a child. GEEZ

While, something is even worse. My friend loves to call others Ah Girl, my typical close friend. When she sms, the first two words are: Hey girl, ..... etc etc. or she would call us 'GIRL, you know ah .....' I have a thought that she might be reading this. HAHA

YES, YOU ALWAYS CALL ME AH GIRL ONE LAHHHHH...

Another time was walking in night market with boyfie and we were laughing like mad because of some jokes or something, a mango seller held up his mango and pointed at my boyfie and said 'See your girlfriend's laugh is so sweet, buy some of my mango and her laughs will be even sweeter.' I looked at him and gave him WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM look. My bf just could not stop laughing afterwards.

Oops, no ah girl but it's a funny incident LOL

Received a big RED giant box from boyfriend's family. Initially I thought it was just cookies or cakes until I opened the box...

It's actually 过礼饼 or 喜饼 from Taiwan.

As a Chinese, this gift is part of our culture. It happens where the bride groom's side has to send bunch of 'biscuits of happiness' (LITERALLY TRANSLATE)... I mean, GIFTS to every family, even to the bride's side.

Don't think so much people, this is actually from his brother. Yeah.

Can you believe it? The packing is SO NICE and the pastries taste DELICOUSYUMMY. We can't find this kind of packing in Malaysia shitttttt...

They even have roses molded biscuit!!!

Hence, the slogan of the newly opened cafe restaurant pH Pastry House at Jalan Utama, off Jalan Imbi. My friend, Matthew is one of the baker in this cafe and he had been bugged me for weeks to try out his creations in this two weeks new restaurant. Why not? I am a pastry lover!

Anyway, boyfriend and I decided to come to this place without informing Matthew. The place is not hard to find, it is along Jalan Utara, few bungalows along Beryl's Chocolate House. Once we reached, I sms-ed Matthew and he was shocked to meet us :D

Anyway, the food here is simply delicious and I must say, the pasta is so freaking nice! Also, Matthew wanted me to try out his Tiramisu which I am not regret, even words could not describe the taste!

How To: Clean dust or dirt in camera lens

Are you annoyed your camera whenever you see those nasty spots on your pictures taken?

Do you ever felt like smashing your old camera and get a new one instead? OR,

do you spend WHOLE DAY just to photoshop the spots on your pictures?

It happens to me every time. Fortunately, I just found out a solution to all camwhores out there on get rid these filthy nasty spots on your camera lens. =] Most users commented that it is impossible to get rid of the dust by doing it yourself because of how complicated it can be. However, I was so geram with the camera and I googled it EVERYWHERE just to get the information on how to remove these dust UNTIL... I saw a Youtube video about this.

All you need is:-

1. Mini screwdrivers

2. Blower

3 Lint-free cloth

4. Of course, your own camera!

I tried this and it works like wonders! A reminder to those who want to try this out:

Looking at the financial statements of various companies to do comparisons do consuming my brain and energy. I just hate financial accounting! I always wonder why I hate accounting so much but having a relationship with a ACCA student. Opposite attractions as they said, yin and yang; dark and night; BLA BLA BLA.

Damn, my assignment group mates are having class now, leaving me dealing with these bunch of financial statements. I made myself to university early in this morning to do all the analysis even though class starts at 2pm. Man, if only they would cancel the classes and let us focus on our assignments works. My friends suggested that we should ditch the class instead for assignments, she has a point! Let's see, our schedules are almost the same, from 10am to 5pm at most, which makes us having less time to do our works despite we still have our own weekends. The freaking library does not open in the weekends! How are we supposed to get our materials also, it is hard for us to meet up in the weekends as we stay in the every other ends of Klang Valley.

The funny thing was my uncle LOVES to bully us, the kids since we were young. He always comes to us and start to bully us T__T No one get to escape from his PALM. This time, he came to our table and wanted us to challenge drinking with his son, my another cousin. Luckily my brother and I are well trained from our dad. HEK HEK HEK That was FUN.

Big Boy 22

Big boy is finally 22 now. After three years of planning, he got to celebrate his birthday in all-HIGH mode! =) I am just happy for him. We celebrated his 22nd at Mist Club, Bangsar and it was huge. I have not been to a club in two years and this is what I had became, a newbie to clubs. I am a goodie goodie good girl, I shall tell you why.

You see, my parents are strict, super duper strict, they would not let me go to clubs if I do not have a reason. I personally not a huge fan of clubs so they should be happy instead. I only go to clubs when there will be events or happenings, other than that... I refuse to go.

Anyway, this is my boyfriend's birthday celebrate and I just cannot say no, it is his moment LOL. I seek for my parents' permission and they let, with one condition: they will be the one who will send me home. *BAM* Not only that, I have to be home before 1am. DAYUMMMMMM.

Luckily my boyfriend was okay with it. How he cannot accept with it ha? But some of my friends were not happy about this. Oh forget it, we had so much fun anyway! The best thing about this celebration: everyone attended to his big day, which made my boy cried (just saying, hopefully he didn't get to read this). Haha!

Truth is, I got to get back home by 2am! Parents were late because they couldn't find the place HAHAHA! I don't know why Mist club really susah nak cari, I think it's because of the name, MISTERI/MYSTERY mahh... Maybe yes maybe no lolollll

Hello loyal readers, I know that you must be checking out my dead blog for a week. I am so sorry for that, I am not only rushing for studies and assignments, however club meetings this time. Yupe, the emoticon beside this describing my current situation. =]

After the long hours of meetings for weeks, my BEAClub had finally done our first ever activity: a visit to orphanage home in Kepong area last Saturday. The activity seems easy to be managed but not for us, most of us are just first year student and have no idea what to do with the procedures. Haha, at least we learnt something from this activity. I might post about this once I got all the photos from our members.

Also on the very last Saturday after visiting the orphanage home, I rushed back home (nearly evening) after dropped one of our members at the nearest LRT Station for my closest National Service friend, Vivian aka Vivi. =D We knew each other on the first day of camp, I can't miss her big day of course! Moreover, some of my NS friends attended the party and yesh! Gathering!! =}

Matthew, the white face in our group had baked a birthday cake for Vivian and it looked super nice and tasted effing delicious!!

This is the guy and guess what?
He is a baker now, how unpredictable!

Words cannot describe how was the birthday party, seriously! We have not been met for nearly three years but we were still like old times, gathered around and started to chitchat like nobody business. Ahhh... good times and who says NS sucks? NS is the best experience I ever had!

Just ignore us, we were just being ourselves!

UEL Cultural Night

Moving from a department to another department, I am no longer a UoL student but a UEL student now. This time, the student council of DOME is having UEL Cultural Night at Artista Bar, Tropicana!

Previous night, the council member called me and wanted me to represent Korea because the model did not want to do so. I was stunned COMPLETELY, I told the member where to get Korean Costume now!? and she said Korean girls love to wear fashionable clothes and good in makeup, suggesting that I should go for it as I really look like an actual Korean.

That MUST be a compliment, . I said YES.

I brought along my pretty pretty partner, Hui Ling for the dinner.

During the briefing, the host wanted us to talk something about our countries, NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I am a Malaysian, how am I supposed to know anything about Korea!? I told them that I am not from Korea and he did not believe me at first, however he wanted me to google the basic facts right away! I checked on my phone and looked through the facts but still, HOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.

So, this is what I did. Thanks to Hui Ling, she recorded my performance. LOL, I did not know that!

Parents and I were craving for afternoon tea for weeks and decided to go to Delicious for afternoon tea treat. We were planning to go to Bangsar but went to Mid Valley instead, my brother was there attending International Toy Fair. bleh... not my stuff.

Ordered Frosty Lychee Tea and it was tasteless for my tongue, it could be the ice. Oh well, as long it is a healthy drink, you gonna sacrifice your tongue once in a while.

The afternoon tea where they served scones, sandwiches, biscuits and etc. We picked Lemon Meringue Pie for cake selection since they do not have any other cakes. BOOO...

This is what i called PIE, a freaking delicious pie! I love their texture, basically it is the whisked egg white and the meringue. I failed to bake this pie especially the meringue, it tends to be SOOO SOUR every time I baked this pie.

Oh well, at least I had tried couple of times to improve my pie. ER WAIT, this sounds so wrong. LOL

A whole new week in HELP was exhausting, a whole new learning environment in UEL programmes with assignments (I had not done any assignment in UoL previously). Classes were okay, new coursemates from around the world and I think I am going to be hell'a busy in this semester (taking four subjects BOO).

I hope I will be fine in this new programme. Screw UoL by the way. My cousin told me that this course is easier than UoL but well... I'm trying to get a Second Class honours so hopefully I can do well.

Just to sum up my week. Spend two days and night at Gold Coast Resort at Morib with boyfie's friends. Things were quite unexpected in some ways but still I managed to get some...well... a lil of fun.

I just hate it that people used me for some other agenda. People will be people...

We love clean brushes

Clean makeup brushes are very crucial for a girl in her daily life. Imagine using the same ol' dirty brush everyday and all of the bacteria are on your face everyday, giving acne break out. Ewww... We do not want that to happen to us right? Sadly, it happens on my forehead few days ago.

That is why it is time to clean my brushes! I have not clean my brushes since... you get the picture, so to start off this cleaning process all you need are:

Dish washing soap
Olive oil or any oil
Kitchen roll or tissue
Cup
Plate

Mix both olive oil and dish washing soap on the plate. What I have found is that dish washing soap can kill bacteria easily and olive oil can moisture the brushes, which is a great combination and we do not have to purposely get a brushes cleaning liquid because it is quite expensive!

Get ready with your brushes peeps, it is time to dip the brushes into the mixture and stir it up in a circular motion and make sure that the brush absorbs the oil and the soap!

Take the brush out from the plate and wipe it back and forth on your hand, this will kill the bacteria effectively :D We love to kill bacteria don't we?

Rinse the brushes with running water and squeeze out the water until the brushes are clean. Place them on a plate with tissue paper in order to avoid messiness of the place.

To dry up the brushes we have to dry them upside down so that the water will not trapped in the brush holder and causing the holder to loose from the brush. It is best to have brush cover with the brush because it will keep the brush in perfect shape! What I did was wrapping them with quality plastic book wrapper! HAHA!! I know I am such a cheapskate, I do not feel like buying any brush guard because

1. I'm using cheap brushes

2. Must save money!!

Place the brushes upside down in a cup or glass with the brush cover and wait for them to dry! It is just that simple. Teehee. By the way, this is my way to clean my brushes, credits to Michelle Phan's Squeaky Clean Brushes!

Being in the hospital can be really tiring, I have no idea why. Been here since 11am to check on dad and wait for his surgery over.

The hospital here does not look like a hospital at all! It looks like a hotel to me, I could not smell those awful medical smell and the the whole building is not only white and white and WHITE. Maybe this is my second time to hospital to visit people.

Luckily they have Starbucks here (could you imagine that they have Starbucks here!?) , yet I am still sleepy. Do they have extra bed here? I would like to take a nap, literally. IT IS JUST SO CHILLING HERE.

My very first maxi dress

The title says it all! I love this piece of maxi dress, it gives a beach vibe and hobo-licious. It's very hard to find a perfect maxi dress for myself because the patterns and textures are difficult to match my skin tone and body type, either too loose or too tight. *big sigh*

While I was at Sunway Pyramid yesterday, I saw this beautiful dress on mannequin in a boutique shop. I was like 'OMG I NEED TO HAVE IT', tried it on and I was super satisfied by the texture and pattern. Problem was, I was not sure whether to get it or not even though it is quite cheap.

Been thinking through out the day and guess what! I finally bought it with mother's approval! Gosh I cannot wait to wear this fabulous dress but one thing for sure, I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO WEAR.

How do you define love?

My friend text-ed me saying that one of our friends are in a new relationship with a boy, we were not thrilled but shocked! A girl who broke up few weeks ago and now she is in a new relationship with a guy we assumed that she barely knows just as in the previous relationship.

I was pretty mad when I heard it because when she broke up the guy few weeks back, I advised her not to be rushed in finding a new partner or else she will be regretted. Unfortunately, I am pretty sure that she does not concern about it at all. I mean, I put all my soul to advice her and hoping that she will change.

A person who is desperate to have a partner. Is that love or necessity?

But does it worth to change partners consistently to feel loved? I am not a love expert but it is all comes from experiences. Decided to wait for my current course-mates to finish their classes in this awful library.

How awful you ask?

Well, the library has a wide space, but unfortunately this big ass library consists of three plug sockets for the students, we have to share sockets using the extension they given.

Shocking news is, they only have one extension and that extension is cacat. Bummer.

Beside that, I have work my butt off for this homework and the case study for this coming Thursday. Apparently this lecturer loves to give us lots of case studies to analyse it, which is good because my last lecturer did was talking to herself during the lectures.

Unfortunately, I still stuck on the last question.

Girls weekend!

Met up my babes at Pavilion this afternoon and we had a blast =) Alicia is my secondary school classmate and Hwee Yin is my current coursemate, introduced both of them to each other and things get so weird after that. Apparently, both of them are so close after the introduction. LOL

Sometimes it's good to go out with the girls, I can buy lots of things as I've been 'caged' by BF for awhile (well, my mom orders him to control me)!! Eyeing on Shiseido The Skin Care series for so long, they are offering starter kit! That means the set comes with cleanser, softener and moisturizer. The products are mainly for hydration purpose, I tend to have dry skin so this series could save my life! *fingers crossed*

Also, I was actually looking for lip brush at Sasa, ended up I bought

A product from Cyber Colors, Gemstone aqua-based pudding foundation. The promoter was friendly enough and recommended this product. Luckily this promoter is smart enough to recommend an affordable foundation as I requested a cheaper one. The normal price for this foundation is RM99 but Sasa is having promotion! Slash the price and I got this for RM50+ (I've forgotten the price LOL).

The outing went great and got the things I want. ZOMG, I love shopping...MUST STOP STOP STOP!!!

That's me and my BF, driving all the way to Kuantan just to escape the buzz buzz city - Kuala Lumpur. We planned this trip a month advance so that we could adjust our schedule. Teehee. No doubt this is the best trip ever even though it is only for 2D1N.

We stayed at his relative's place around Teluk Chempedak which is so cool because it's near to the beach!

I have never been to Kuantan before and I am truly amazed HOW CLEAN the beach is! Penang has great beaches but it is not as clean as Kuatan. I'm not biased, I DO NOT HATE PENANG. I love Penang people, I even have close Penang friends, my BF's hometown is Penang so yeah... I DO NOT HATE PENANG.

Why I always end up with a Penang guy?

WHY NEVER A KL ONE. WHY!???

See the clean beach!? =] So cantik kan?? Spent whole day wandering the beach and enjoyed the view. How can you miss this amazing view in Malaysia? Forget about Mauritius, enjoy the sunny beach in Malaysia first! Hmm, I hope my Mauritius classmate will not find this out or else I'll be dead. It's expensive to go to Mauritius okay. Haha!

The next day before returning to the buzz city, we headed to BF's uncle's stall to have a delicious meal. It claims to be a famous stall in Kuantan, I've been told that the queue is quite long everyday.

I indeed had the best pork noodles! It is so yummy!! =] They are famous for Char Koay Teow, unfortunately I did not take picture because I was on nom nom nom my BF's char koay teow. =P

Kuantan trip is a successful one because BF and I did not make an argument, we tend to argue in every trip. I don't know WHY. 0.0 The beach is lovely and I will be back with family, enjoying the view from Hyatt aiteee. =P
